Pumpkin is the universal flavor of fall, and wedding guests love getting yummy edibles as wedding favors. Therefore, what could be better than pumpkin pie fudge to fill your wedding favor bags or boxes? Here’s a delicious recipe from Food Prim that will impress your guests!
3 Cups Butter (unsalted), plus ¾ cup melted, unsalted butter
2/3 Cups Evaporated Milk
1 Cup Canned Pumpkin
2 Tbsp Corn Syrup
2 ½ Tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
9 Ounces White Chocolate Chips
7 Ounces Marshmallow Fluff
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
How It’s Made:
Start by combining the sugar, butter, milk, pumpkin, corn syrup and pumpkin pie spice in a saucepan. Cook this over medium-high heat and stir constantly until the fudge begins to boil. You will want to use a candy thermometer and monitor the fudge until it reaches 234 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the fudge has reached this stage, go ahead and remove the sauce pan from the heat.
Now, stir in the white chocolate chips and the marshmallow fluff. Next, add the vanilla and stir the mixture until it’s well blended. Pour the fudge onto a greased cookie sheet or a pan lined with parchment paper. Allow the fudge to cool for at least 2 hours or until it’s completely cool and firm. You can then cut the fudge into squares and fill your favor bags or boxes with it! Stick pastry liners between the pieces of fudge to keep them separate.
